I was contacted by an APP recruiter for a phone interview, which was pretty brief. She asked just a few questions but spent most of the time explaining the position to me. I then met the recruiter and many members of the staff at the hospital a couple of weeks later for a site visit and in-person interview, which was very relaxed. Very few questions were asked of me again, but the team was very friendly and eager to get to know me. The surgical program was in its infancy, and they just wanted someone who is flexible and willing to contribute to a developing system at a relatively new hospital.
