I was approached by the HR on Linkedin. First round was an automated HR video interview round where you have to answer certain questions on a platform. It is fairly simple and straightforward. Then there is the first Technical round. I was asked to design a snake and ladder game where dice is rolled until a winner has emerged. The result is to be displayed in Pandas data frame. The result should contain dice roll history, position history and win status for each player (4 players in total). This round was conducted by the HR herself. I don't get how does the HR understand the logical approach I took with the code. Second technical round is a continuation of the first round where you have to display the 2D position history for each player (co-ordinates) across N-Dimensional board in the same dataframe as the result. Fairly simple, and I got the result as desired for this. After the second technical round, I was ghosted for 4 days, and after reaching out to HR, she told me that they decided to go ahead with other candidates. I don't understand why waste 2 weeks for this? Just let the candidate know if they're not selected. Apart from the interview process, the HR was so arrogant as if she's already paying me to attend the interview. You'll find all these arrogant snobs at the company to work with.

The scalability of the board and the ability to accommodate dynamic numbers of players were emphasized. Although I successfully completed all the interview rounds, I faced a disappointment afterward. Despite being assured that they would provide an update, I never heard back from the HR team. This lack of communication, coupled with the fact that I was not informed about the potential job offer in advance, made me feel like the entire process was a waste of time. It's worth noting that this company operates night shifts, likely following Eastern US Time. This information was not disclosed to me beforehand, so it's advisable to be prepared for this if considering a position with them.
