It was really smooth and they were really personable. They also were really on top of the hiring process, I only waited a week or two to hear back in between stages starting from the first video recorded interview.

I was contacted by email after submitting an online application, then scheduled soon after for a phone interview with two senior engineers. The HR department was easy to communicate with. There was a portal to fill out information that a number of applicants had difficulty with, but it wasn't too bad and HR made sure that nobody was held up by it.
Two interviews with people on the team. not super hard. all behavior and no technical questions. Not a lot of time between interviews which was nice - didn't have to wait for that long.
completed virtual interview asked me to tell them about myself/experience, why I want to work at Arup, my graduation date, if I am eligible to work, if I will be available for the posted date.
