I turned an application in in-person and got an interview scheduled for the next day. When turning in the app, I met the male owner's wife (and co-owner). They seemed to have tension as I said, "That is awesome you get to work together!" To which, he rolled his eyes and looked exasperated, saying "yeah.." The next day, I met with the male owner and we had a one-on-one interview that lasted an hour. He complimented my outfit a few times and talked about how the position is glamorous and requires a lot of dressing up tastefully and wearing makeup. He asked about why I wanted the job, what my dance history is like. He also asked several personal questions and I felt very closely watched the entire time. I talk with my hands, and his eyes would constantly dart to where they were going. There was an intensity about this interview. His questions about my boyfriend seemed inappropriate as well as his inquiry of if my modeling is done "with clothes on" or not. I was explained compensation, which was lower than I expected. I was asked if I had questions and how the working interview would go. A 3day process of 45min-1hr each day. I called and cancelled my scheduled working interview because I felt uncomfortable and reading other glassdoor reviews about manipulation, pushy sales, and sexual relations with instructors made me run for the hills. Overall I got an odd vibe.

Standard phone interview then 2 face to face interviews. I met with franchisees, and then the studio management. Here I am inserting extra words so that I can continue to use this site.
