Group Interview - first round. Very intimidating for some people, arbitrary questions with little / no relation to law. Idea seems to be to figure out personalities and who can make themselves heard. Luck of the draw as to what type of group you get and whether you get a chance to speak.

Three stages: online application, group interview and individual interview. Overall a good experience, the partners who interview the trainees were really nice but the group interview is very intense. The online application is the largest hurdle, it's much easier to make an impression in person.
