Entrevista
Application online stating most recent work experience and any additional things that would help your application. Invited to interview by email the next week. Didn't realise it was a group interview however was relaxed and informal. Split into pairs and asked to find out about your partner and relay back to group. Then the group was split into 2 and each had to design their perfect employee- bit of fun to test what you think makes a good customer assistant. Finally given brochures about insurance policies for products and also the argos card, to which in our pairs we had to do role play a customer and staff conversation, offering those things with a product description the interviewers give you. Overall fine but do not feel this is the best way to test someone as only 1 from each pair was allowed to showcase their customer service skills, while the other had to be a customer.

what skills does a customer service assistant need
Easy for me but hard for some I can imagine. Just had to chat and then go on shop floor. Nice woman interviewing me. I would recommend. Thanks Argos - you the best!
it was a long interview (1 hour) but relatively easy. however it did involve role play which was quite hard as i didn’t know how to work the system and most products i was being told to look for weren’t in stock.

one on one interview with questions about experience with customers, teamwork, and how to deal with different customer scenarios. Also asked about background info. Overall a light and easy friendly chat.
