      Entrevista

      I applied via LinkedIn on Friday 18th July and had a follow-up from Talent Acquisition the following Monday. The application process involved three stages: 30 minute screening call with the TA specialist; 60 minute semi-technical "competencies & scenarios" interview with the hiring manager & team members; 90 minute technical-focused interview with a white boarding exercise with the hiring manager & team members. There was no live coding or anything of that nature at any stage. Every interview was very conversational and felt like a two-way street. All of the interviewers came across superbly and made me very excited about the opportunity to join Arbor. I was delighted to receive and accept an offer on 20th August. The whole process took about a month from application to offer, and may have been quicker but I was away for a week.

      Entrevista

      Clear, straightforward process with three steps: screening, technical interview, and an interview with leadership. Their process seems reasonable, and they appear like a big company with good initiatives and a stable financial background. I received generally good feedback throughout, but was ultimately disappointed to be rejected based on a requirement that wasn’t part of the original job description or the title, and the conversation was then cut short without further clarification. During screening, they briefly mentioned they talk to candidates to see where they might fit, so they're basically just fishing. I have multiple friends who have had the same experience and were rejected or left without clear closure, not for their experience or skills.

      They sent me a technical test during the interview, which was a brief scenario for an imagery application with specific constraints. You have to design the system during a screen share, DB schema, API specs and explain how would you react to scalability issues, scope changes, etc.
