It was a smooth process. 2 aptiv employees interviewed me. They asked me a variety of questions related to my major and my work. It was a chill convo which did not get me all stressed up.

Tell me one thing that you are proud of that is not in your resume
The process started with a brief recruiter screening, followed by a technical deep-dive. Questions focused heavily on C++ fundamentals and memory management, specifically smart pointers (std::unique_ptr vs std::shared_ptr) and the importance of virtual destructors in inheritance. Expect questions about RAII and low-level optimizations. The atmosphere was professional and the interviewers were very knowledgeable.
