Entrevista
Three part interview - the first part is more behavioral and done as a phone screen. If selected, the second part is a more technical interview, done through google hangout call. The third part is with a group of the company's employees and a mixture of behavioral and technical.
Great experience overall. Three rounds of interviews. First round was a brief phone call with an HR representative. Final round was a "Super Day" where candidates talked with multiple people at the company and saw a product demo.

Entrevista
Appian is a very exciting company with many great attributes, but the abrupt end to my interview process gave me whiplash. The process began with a positive phone screen followed by a 45 minute video call with the hiring manager and then an automated rejection email. After 2 good conversations I actually wondered if maybe there had been a mistake. I followed up asking for confirmation and reiterated my enthusiasm. My HR contact responded curtly. A request for any feedback was unanswered as of this writing. C'est la vie. Takeaway: Appian seems to lack a human touch which may be a red flag to others.
