These are the steps as per my understanding:
1. Long Application
2. Automated code screen from Code Signal
3. Recruiter Call
4. "Onsite"
I applied and was invited to do the code screen which is about 1.5 hrs and I would highly recommend practising before hand. Searching for anthropic automated code screen online gives a good idea of the type of questions.
I did the code screen and got a perfect score - 1000/1000
A recruiter scheduled the next call.
Then, the recruiter canceled the interview literally 1 minute before the call with the following template message providing zero insight as to why it was canceled:
"Apologies for the last minute change but our requirements for the role are shifting and we need to reassess our pipeline.
Again, sorry for any last minute changes but hopefully we can connect soon."
Then, GHOSTED.
Horrible experience.
