I applied for a Senior UX Designer role via their website, 2 months later I was contacted for the interview. The initial HR screening and hiring manager interview were nice and professional.
A week later, the hiring manager proposed the next round on short notice, and I agreed to do with the deep interest in the company and the team. It was 1.5-hour design panel included eight people from various teams, presented your work and followed by many questions from different angles. It felt overwhelming and left little room for meaningful discussion, unlike previous interviews.
One week after the panel interview, I sent a follow-up email, then I received an automated rejection email over a week later on a SUNDAY afternoon, with no personalized feedback. This felt abrupt after my time and effort.
