Had a phone interview with a manager that covered some basic knowledge/skills questions, as well as talking about what the company did, and whether or not I'd be a good fit. Later got called back in for a panel interview with about 5-7 developers and managers where we talked about how I'd handle projects they were currently working on, and was given some basic tasks to write code for up on the white board in the front of the room. A little bit of a nerve-racking process, but the people were nice, and the questions were straight forward. Also got to to chat with everyone about what they liked about the company, etc.

I applied online through the job board. The phone screen was with a senior engineering manager who went through a laundry list of very common front-end interview questions and then a coding question in which I was asked to provide 3 different solutions with no difference in time complexity. I moved forward to the onsite where the problems were not even leetcode easy. One odd situation was where I was asked to pseudocode a problem in a word doc, even though it was easy enough just to code it in any language. The system architecture round was trivial: did not have to worry about scalability and I just went through a list of proposed APIs.

- asked to talk about my career - standard questions about javascript and java -- some "gotcha" questions - standard easy-level leetcode-style programming exercise -- was disappointed they did this, as it doesn't have much to do with software engineering skill
