I had a preliminary phone interview then an in-person interview for the position. It was for an internal position and the hiring manager who set up the interview cancelled on me about 40 minutes before the interview. I was having car difficulties that week and had just gotten back from driving my husband over an hour away to his job so I could borrow his car. I told her, at that time, I couldn’t do a different day unless it was an emergency so she had me interview with a girl who had been in a recruiting position for 4 months. She was very polite but even admitted to me she had no idea what to do during an interview for an internal position as she only handled external placements. Overall, the company seemed really disorganized and unprofessional.
