Applied to a job posting and received a email 2 days later from a recruiter. A interview was scheduled and I was told to take a assessment test (kinda like a Myers Briggs test) before my phone interview. Phone interview went well and a in person interview was scheduled with the branch manager. Interview went great and I cannot speak highly enough about the people interviewing me. Both were very professional, easygoing, and personable. Some time passed and I never heard back from anyone so I emailed the branch manager to check on the status of my application. Was told to come in for another interview with the service managers. Interview with service managers went really well and they told me they would pass along there approval for hiring me. At this point everything has gone so smoothly I thought there was a strong chance of being hired. Over 2 weeks go by and I still hadn’t heard anything so I again email one of the managers about the status of of my application. Was told that they still hadn’t finished the hiring process and to be patient. Never heard a word from them after that. Although it was a painfully slow process, and even though I didn’t receive a job offer, I have nothing but good things to say about the people who interviewed me. The only thing I would recommend is a bit more transparency about the hiring process that way you don’t have people like me blowing up your email and voicemail asking about the status of a application.
