I applied online, was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screen, then I had one interview with the hiring manager, one interview with two other project managers, and a panel interview with two director-level employees. Initially, everything went well and really quickly. I was in constant contact w/ the recruiter (or sometimes her assistant) every week, but then two weeks went by and I heard nothing. Then the job was reposted online. Then I followed up 3 separate times via email to see what was going on. It wasn't until that third time that I found out I did not get the position, but there was no reason given as to why which isn't helpful as a candidate. I really admire the AMA, but it is a shame how they treated me as a candidate.

I think that the interview process was really great. It was very organized and everyone I met was very friendly and professional. The location of the AMA headquarters is also very nice and I was given a nice tour of the office space. I felt very comfortable throughout the process.
