I was lied to horribly to accept this position. I was told I would get paid $500 per week for 2 weeks of shadowing/training and my job was to go over benefits with people through zoom. I was told I was to schedule a minimum of 12 people out of the 25 people that would be giving to me and that I would receive a base pay of 1,200 a week as long as I completed my 12 people and everyone else after that was additional. He even went as far as to say he had a single mom with 4-5 kids and she has her 12 people completed by Wednesday every week and she just takes the rest of the week off. He also said he had a retired pastor on his team that did the same. All of it was a lie. I went through the whole process of getting my license and borrowing money since I am currently unemployed to complete this process under the false pretense that I would be making money right after I completed my course and obtained my license. None of this was true. This is straight commission. There is no $500 a week for shadowing /training and you're calling people to get them to get a permanent benefit insurance plan and that is how you make the money. It's nothing like it was told to me. Now I'm sitting here facing an eviction when I could've accepted a job offered to me weeks ago. How do you sleep at night doing this to people?

There were no questions. You are on zoom and he explains the job that you will be doing but it's all lies.

Interview so far was fair, mainly a presentation about the company, in group setting, with a manager 1:1 afterwards. Overall more a discussion than an interview, with a signup to start learning for the licensing exam.

Overview video was watched. Also answered some questions at the end. Once questions are reviewed someone will reach out (if thought to be a good fit ) for a second interview. This part could take anywhere from a few hours to 24 hours. Once on to next step an interview will be conducted via zoom.
You’ll first receive an invitation to watch an introductory video. Then, you’ll be invited to a group presentation. After that, you’ll complete a one-on-one interview with a manager before getting hired.
