Entrevista
Received a nondescript request to come in for an interview, which had to be rescheduled due to the office continued to send me email confirmations for locations outside my geographical location. Took the day off work of my current full time job, still not knowing what I was interviewing for but I was told to bring a resume, dress professionally, valid driver's license and reliable transportation. I was ushered into and office and was asked "are you currently working?" Yes. "Why do you want to look for another job" general answer given. I tell the gentleman I dont even know what position in interviewing for. His reply was to tell me that all that will be gone over in the 2nd step of the interview process and I will be told about all the position available. He says I qualify for the 2nd step and wants to know if I can stay another 60-90 min. He ushers me down the hall and has me fill out a questionnaire. This consisted of questions like why should we hire you? Why do you want to work with us? And several multiple choice. Keep in mind I still have no idea what this job entails other than it involves life insurance. The room fills up with about 10-12 diverse individuals ranging in age and dress. One woman was wearing whiteJean's, a other sperry shoes and one kid was wearing green Jean's and a denim shirt. Then the sales pitch. begins and i realize this is for life insurance sales. They had some really good things to offer but others left me with lots of questions. They talk about benefits for their clients but nothing about their employees. Having a benefit background myself, I know independent contractors are not offered benefits by their employers. Also there was no mention of a benefit base salary, even for the first few months while you are getting up to speed. It sounded a lot like a pyramid scheme but I was willing to come back for another round to ask my questions. They werent willing to work with my current work schedule to come back in for a 3rd round

Interview mainly informative, not many questions were asked. Made to pay for insurance license at time of interview. A lot of paperwork. Quickly hired possibly due to high turnover. The entire process felt rushed.

Very simple and great process. Communications are great. They offer webinars that makes the jobs seem greater than what it really is. When honestly the job can be what you make it but you have to put in a lot of time to the point you have none left for yourself and family.
