Exhausting and silly. They put you through a ringer of an interview process, and if one person doesn't like you, then you're not Amazon material. Through this interview process, they attempt to create this aura that working there is a privilege. All that happens is that you have to prepare like a grad school exam. But no matter how well prepared you are, if one of the 10 interviewers views themselves as Amazon's gatekeeper (I'm not referring to the bar raiser), then you're offer is contingent on a person who hasn't gotten over getting picked on in high school. Overall, it's a silly process.
