I received a call from direct HR and after some basic screening process got invited to come for an in-person interview.
Cleared the first two technical rounds and next was the director round, Had a really good frank chat with him, he seemed satisfied with my performance and resume. So far so good. But when he realized I am from his past company XXX he sent another person whom he would have probably pulled from XXX to just have a casual chit chat.
Now comes the guy, the most arrogant, negative mind person I have ever met with zero people skills. He was having some perceived notion about himself and a few things which were making him offended throughout the talk. First of all, if I have been told have a casual talk with 'this' guy I will talk in a casual manner even though you are 20yrs experienced. Now, this offended guy gives negative feedback about me I don't know why and I get a call from the security to leave for the day. Let me tell you till then, the HR himself was giving me feedback in person after each round.
Dear HR if your hiring manager rejects for whatsoever reasons at least it would have been decent enough for you not to hide behind and come up say the same. Telling it through the security, not a very professional behaviour to a 6yrs experienced person who took leave for a day to attend the interview process.
And to the arrogant guy, let me tell you with this negative mindset, you will probably grow under someone whom you know, but someday another arrogant snake may bite you just like you did to me.
PS: I was from the XXX company. They had a great experience with XXX, and they just could not digest the fact that I am not liking to work in their so-called great XXX.

Had a very negative interview experience at Amadeus Bangalore. The whole experience felt like it was forced. The interview was delayed by half an hour and interviewer came only after double checking at the reception. He barely seemed interested in taking the interview. There were no introductions. Kept looking at his laptop while I was answering his questions. It was more focused on css. Not much tested on JavaScript programming or logical problem solving skills. At the end of the interview he didn't even bother to look up from his laptop and curtly said "you can leave for the day". This was inspite of getting 80percent of the questions right. To say that the treatment was horrible would be an understatement. I haven't received this kind of treatment even during campus interviews. In all of my interviews there was always a "do you have any questions for us". It felt biased from the beginning and was a total waste of my time. Amadeus if you are reading this: To not lose the reputation you have gained in so many years, wouldn't it be better if you had well behaved employees conduct these interviews rather than the mediocre rude ones conducting with such an outdated process and zero courtesy? The least you can do is show some basic courtesy and respect for the time they have taken off from work to attend an interview on a weekday :) A training for the interview panel on soft skills perhaps?
