Candidates are required to complete a long list of challenges before getting an actual interview with the CTO. The challenges are not particularly difficult but they are very time consuming (took me a total of ~5 hours). The problems are completely unrelated to the business domain and mostly involve pulling data from different APIs and processing it in some way e.g. data from Pokemon, Star Wars or Harry Potter. In some of the questions, the descriptions are deliberately confusing in a similar fashion to an escape room. I was supposed to get an interview invite after reaching the minimum score but they never got back to me. I even replied to the original email from the CTO but I didn't get a response. I find it very rude and disrespectful that they make candidates invest so much time on absurd challenges only to ghost them and never get back.
