I applied online. First received an email to schedule a phone interview which asked simple questions like what can you bring to the table. It is a recording that you call. After that, I was selected for an in person interview with Division leaders & finally an in person interview the hiring managers. Both in person interviews were behavioral based interviews. It took over a month to find out an answer after the final interview. I was not selected for the role however management did not provide any helpful or negative feedback. I was actually told my interview was very good, I was just not selected for the role. Allstate does not like to promote within which makes no sense because the leaders they hire off the street have no insurance experience and it's so much easier to hire entry level positions and train their jobs, rather they would have leaders who know nothing about their direct reports job so employees are not developed at all. Allstate only cares if you have a degree, they do not care about work experience. I was told by numerous managers I need to work on getting my degree, however the job requisition did not state a degree is required.
