I was contacted through email by a recruiter a few weeks after I applied to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview mainly consisted of behavioral question. Such as, how you act in groups, how you deal with conflict, how you are with presenting, etc.
A week later I was brought in for a face to face interview which consisted of two panel interviews. Everyone was very relaxed and friendly. Very comfortable interview. Asked behavioral questions and some questions relating to excel and other software.

Can you give an example of a time there was conflict in a group you were working with? How was it resolved? What would you have done differently, if anything?
Phone screen with someone from Talent Acquisition, several interviews with the hiring manager and other members of the team, and then the offer came following they completed after all other interviews with other candidates.

Eventhough the test is theoretically about proposing compensation packages alternative to merit increase, the intimidating part is the expectation that with 20 minutes preparation time, you should be able to present your suggestions to a panel of 5 strangers.
