This interview was done before the merger of Universal Protection Services and Allied Barton. I won't say which company I came from This probably doesn't reflect Allied's current interview process, but this was my honest to God experience. Apparently I applied for the job somewhere and got an email back from the 'hiring manager' telling me the rates of jobs available in my area. I scheduled an 'interview' with her and I just filled out a secondary application with all of my information. Because of my driving record, I couldn't go to one site and the other was a weird shift. While I was finishing my paperwork, she told me about another site she had and scheduled an interview with the site supervisor there. It was a hot mess. Instead of interviewing in a conference room or office, the supervisor took me outside and sat me at a table during the middle of lunch hours. I was super shy then, so it was very difficult for me to be surrounded by strangers and still have to ace the interview. Despite his weird questions, I got the job, because he didn't care about how well of an officer you were, he wanted someone he 'liked' and someone who seemed like would 'fall in line.' Needless to say, he's gone and I still have my job here.
