I want to share my recent experience with a recruitment process involving Allianz. I first received a phone call after being contacted by an Allianz recruiter. During the call, he confirmed my experience based on my CV and clearly mentioned that the next step would be a client interview, even sharing specific details about the client. After that conversation, I never received any update. What made the situation even more surprising is that I was later contacted by another recruitment company for the exact same position with Allianz. They informed me that I had been accepted to move to the next stage and that I would receive an email the following week with the interview details. Once again, no update ever came. I fully understand that hiring priorities can change and that processes may stop for different reasons. However, leaving candidates without any feedback or follow-up after clear commitments is frustrating and discouraging. If there is no real intention to move forward with a candidate, it is always better to communicate transparently rather than leave people waiting.
