Interview process was very straightforward and quick! I spoke with the recruiter first and then next interview was with leadership of the enrollment team. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Based on their website, AllCampus looked like a great place to work. Since a pandemic, why waste your life working for an awful company? But within 3 minutes of talking to these people, I could see it’s the same characters from the unscrupulous “for-profit education industry” (but with a “polished” website). In the interview, I could see they’re uncomfortable with a candidate asking them “honest” questions. But they need to remember that candidates are interviewing them too. They are untruthfully advertising this job as an enrollment position - when they should be truthful and advertise this job for what it is - a telemarketing job. This is nothing more than a “call center” job - a telemarketing / telesales job. Nothing more. This is not really an admissions job. They are not seeking talented admissions counselors. Nor are they seeking “good conversationalists” (as their website boasts). They are just seeking phone dialers. Can’t think of a worse job. There’s no flexibility. You’ll be chained to your desk for specific work hours. Selling college programs or training will not be an easy sell these days. Here’s a tip for AllCampus: do you want to find the right “fit” so you retain an employee and don’t have high turnover? Then advertise this position honestly. Advertise it as a “telemarketer job”. You’ll find the right candidate quickly and you won’t waste our time or yours. As for other positions with AllCampus, if they’re not advertising this job honestly, I would be skeptical about their other listings. Make sure you ask them lots of challenging questions. Don’t waste your life working at a terrible job.
