Hiring was done through and external agency. They did all the coordination in setting up the interview.
They did ask me to apply through their website after clearing 1st round (not sure what's the logic here)
Coming to the interview, It was pretty much related to the role but what I did not like one single bit was the attitude of the interviewer, he was not welcoming and no smile there was nothing casual about it. (Imagine being interrogated by a police)
Well, it so happens that I did clear it which I wasn't expecting and the next person was good and spoke gently answered well to the queries.
What interviewers forget is that it's involves two parties and you should equally give the other person the chance to ask questions and give an unbiased insight to the culture. Not just ask him if he has any questions in the last one minute for the sake of asking . Well we don't live in a perfect world!
Now, coming to the last part where companies terribly fail is in giving the applicant a closure and an honest feedback or atleast sharing him the result in a stipulated time frame. Which didn't happen here either!
I'm glad I'm no part of such culture!
