Applied through agilent website. Received e-mail from recruiter asking me to respond to several questions as a way to gauge my interest and fit for the position. About 5 days later, I received e-mail from recruiter to schedule a phone interview with the hiring manager. Received e-mail about 5 days later telling me the hiring manager wanted me to come in for a face to face. I was probably 1 of a handful of finalist for the position. Face to face interview was with hiring manager and 3 additional people from the same department and from a related department. Interview took place early in the week and was told I'd be notified by hiring manager by Friday. Got call the Friday of that week with an offer. I find it great that in this instance, HR kept to their timeline and did not leave applicants in the dark as the hiring manager he had notified the remaining finalist of the decision.
