They sent out an aptitude test. After that I came in for an interview and redid the test to prove the consistency of scores. Later I was asked to take a technical test. After a while of waiting, I got declined. The worst thing is hiring process took 3 months.

How did you get the visa? Why didn't you apply for residency with your qualification and chose to do it with your partner instead? Why do you think the visa under partnership scheme is easier as you must be together for at least 3 months?
