The process was fairly straightforward. Before the interview, the recruiter shared prep materials (sample questions, STAR method guidance, and insights about the role), which I appreciated and found helpful. On the day of the interview, I arrived, was greeted, and after a short wait was taken to meet one-on-one for the interview.
While the structure of the interview was clear, I was concerned by the overall professionalism. One of the company’s co-founders, who conducted the interview, spoke negatively about current team members. This struck me as unprofessional, especially coming from someone in a leadership role.
Finally, while there was an initial acknowledgment of my thank-you email, I never received any follow-up regarding status or next steps. For a recruiting agency — whose business is centered on candidate experience — this lack of closure was disappointing and reflects poorly on their standards.
