      Entrevista

      I applied by sending an email with my resume and cover letter. I was told from people who already work there not to mention the fact that I'm in school. So I removed that I was a student before submitting. I got a call back for an interview. When I arrived I filled out an application and a request for a background and credit check. The interview went okay. They didn't ask me hard questions. Just hammered the fact they there is a lot of turnover and if I'm okay with seeing lots of new faces all the time. The interviewer brought me to her desk, opened MS Word, and she dumped information at me. The test was for me to write down the important information, mocking a call with a customer. It was really easy. When they interview was over, they walked me out and about 2-3 weeks later I got a call that I was hired. They said it was a 2-week training period, but they have you start training on a Wednesday in "week" 1, then put you on the phones on Wednesday "week" 2. So technically it's 2 weeks, but it's no more than 5 days. They train you in a computer room which they keep locked. You're not allowed to bring any materials home, so forget trying to study at home, nor can you read over the material on your lunch break. Half in the day you are in the computer room viewing powerpoint presentations. The second half of the day you are sitting side-by-side with a CSR listening to their call in progress. If you study the terms and conditions, which is located on the site, you'll be fine and when you are put on the phones you can look policies up on their intranet.
