Was tedious and time consuming. Questions were not much of technical questions but rather more of human behavior and interaction. Whilst I had prepared a presentation about my technical know how, I was made to shelve the presentation. The were no clear guidelines on the interview.

The process started with a ~30-minute phone interview with an optical engineer. He briefly introduced the company and team, then asked about my background, education, and several projects I’ve worked on. We talked about my experience in optical design, simulation and fabrication, and he asked which locations and teams I was interested in. At the end he explained which optical engineer positions might fit my profile, the timeline for feedback, and the possible next steps in the interview process.
