Was approached by a recruiter first. Had a few phonecalls with HR, followed by two face to face interview, one with the director and one with the head of English.

I applied online, and first there was a 15 minute phone call with someone in HR. Then I had an interview via zoom. I honestly don't think there were any specific questions that were challenging or different, but the team lead who interviewed me was very lovely and easy to talk to. Then they brought me for an in-person interview and tour of the school. Everyone was very kind and it seemed quite nice, and I was very excited about the position. They then let me know that HR would be contacting me about an offer. They sent me the contract to look over and there were a lot of concerns. A lot of things were worded in the contract that seemed like a trap. An example of a statement being "reasonable overtime expected" and then another clause later on stating that overtime would not be compensated. The salary was also lower than a lot of similar positions in other companies (and what is listed on glassdoor). When I replied asking questions about the contract and these terms, they immediately withdrew the offer. If the contract itself wasn't a red flag, their response to my question showed that it was not somewhere I wanted to work.
