Entrevista
I had applied online for an interview at APR57. I scheduled interview for next day at 12:00pm. When I walked in I was handed a interview form which asks me to fill about my details qualification and experiences. Then I had a one on one conversation with the Mr. Lee. He asked me about my background and my interests and if I had any suggestions for them. The interview was pretty smooth and easy.

The interview was incredibly hectic and felt rather unprofessional and the store is much closer to a pawn shop than anything else. There was a man standing in front of the store with a sign accusing the owner of fraud and after some quick googling of the owner it seems he had been embroiled in many lawsuits and such.

I applied to a job at “Midtown Art Gallery” online and received a message asking me to come and interview the next morning. I was somewhat apprehensive, but decided to go because the job description looked great for me. I was under the impression that I was interviewing at a contemporary art gallery. I was very confused when I was in a small, messy, unorganized antique store. The interview itself was fine, basic questions about my background. The owner explained a lot of stuff about the rare objects they have which I didn’t care about because I thought I was going to be in a contemporary art gallery. He also kept giving me an iPad and having me read parts of the website? He asked me to stay that same day for a trial shift and I said no. It all seemed very sketchy. I assume they have candidates come for interviews so quickly so they don’t have time to do extensive research on the place, I know if I had a week I would have found out that “Midtown Gallery” is just APR 57 and seen the Glassdoor reviews and cancelled my interview.
