I applied for a role at an AMS client and a recruiter contacted me to do the prescreen. I was qualified for the role and she was going to pass along my resume to the client TA team until she found out that the employer was going to need to transfer my visa. She rudely told me that the client won’t sponsor visas (client employs 100k in 30+ countries with a huge global mobility team) and then hung up me.
