The first round was a written test divided into two sections.. Aptitude and technical.. Aptitude was very general , solving RD Sharma quant was more than enough.. However technical questions ranged from 10th 12th and all over Engineering .. On clearing the interview you will have a GD, the topic for my group was " should maggi have been be brought back onto the shelves after the ban" , other teams also got similar easy to discuss topics.. There were two panels for the interview round, the panel that i was sent to mainly asked questions about material science. They asked me to draw the Iron Carbon diagram in detail and was asked a lot of questions on the same, I was also asked to draw a few thermodynamic cycles like otto cycle, diesel cycle and to comment on their respective performances etc. The other panel however focussed mainly on Vibration engineering questions with lot of focus on thernal questions too . Note that the technical and HR round happens simulatenously

1. Why I was suitable for this particular job and with my profile i would easily get a Master's seat in foreign colleges , so why take this job?
The assessment and the GD was like the level is easy and the interview was resume based. Overall experience was good. Just don't get stressed out and answer everything with calm and presence mind.
There are 4 rounds first is the online aptitude test, followed by GD, then the Technical round and HR... The aptitude test is easy to crack with ample practice, and in TR, resume-based questions were asked

Entrevista
First, we had an online test that mainly consisted of aptitude questions. After that, we had a one-on-one technical interview where they asked basic mechanical engineering questions like the laws of thermodynamics, along with questions from our resumes. Candidates were then shortlisted for the HR round. In the HR interview, they asked typical behavioural questions such as why we want to join Alstom and whether we’re open to relocating. After this stage, 12 students were shortlisted, and following another round of internal filtering—based on criteria we weren’t informed about—they finally selected 6 candidates.
