We are very sorry that you feel like our application process was not a great experience. We are constantly improving our processes and are grateful for feedback and learning.
We have checked your case in a closer matter and have checked the email communication and could not find any exchange of information regarding the visa status. Unfortunately, we are unable to verify the verbal / phone arrangements or communication.
We are careful to check such organizational matters as part of our process. Usually, the VISA process can take up to two months as various appointments and waiting times have to be taken into account. On top of that, the current Corona situation also leads to longer waiting times than usual. For this reason, the VISA process duration would no longer have corresponded with the desired start date for the internship. We regret that there were misunderstandings in the communication and the commitment in this regard.
Still, we want to thank you for your feedback. We will make sure that from now on we will optimize our application process also in regards to edge-cases comparable to yours.
