      Solicitud

Solicité el puesto a través de la escuela superior o la universidad. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en AARP (Washington, DC) en may 2011

      Entrevista

The first round was just everything about your experiences. The second round was 2 case interviews with 2 business managers. \The first case question was something like to estimate the market size of a potential product. The second one was to give some business/marketing advice to a product of AARP.

      Entrevista

My experience in the interview process for the Business Analyst role consisted of several distinct stages: Initial Phone Screening: The process commenced with an introductory phone call with a recruiter or HR representative. This initial conversation aimed to gauge my qualifications and interest in the position. Meeting with the Hiring Manager: Approximately two weeks later, I had the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager. This interview was a more in-depth assessment of my qualifications and how well-suited I was for the role. Panel Interview: Following the interview with the hiring manager, I progressed to a panel interview. During this phase, I met with multiple team members or stakeholders. The purpose of this interview was to evaluate my ability to work in a team, solve complex problems, and determine whether I aligned with the organization's culture. VP Meeting: Subsequently, I was informed that the next step would involve a meeting with a Vice President (VP) of the company. This stage typically assessed my strategic thinking abilities and my alignment with the company's broader goals. Regrettably, the process took an unfortunate turn from this point onward. After the panel interview, I did not receive any further communication from the company. Despite my persistent efforts to follow up with the recruiter through several emails, I did not receive any responses or updates on the status of my application. This lack of communication from the recruiting team left me feeling disappointed and unsupported throughout the job application process

Behavioral interview questions. Give an example of a situation where you had to meet a tight deadline. How did you prioritize your tasks and ensure the work was completed on time?

Recruiter would call, show interest, and then no contact for weeks. Rinse and repeat. Finally, I had a video interview where I had to answer questions within two minutes. After that I had a Skype interview with a manager that lasted about 45 minutes. I received an offer the next day. Had to negotiate the final salary (which was really below expectation). AARP pays below market.
