I went through 8 interviews. First interview was via Zoom with the head of HR. Second interview was with the workplace manager via Zoom. I was then asked to come into the office for 4 more interviews. Two of the people I was supposed to meet had to cancel so they had me meet with two other employees to fill in the time. I then had another Zoom interview the same day as my in-office interviews later that evening with the head of HR. Then I was asked to come back into the office to meet with the head of HR in person and the CEO. This was an extremely lengthy interview process. I would hope this changes and becomes more streamlined for future candidates. The last interview with the CEO is where 90% of the entire interview process comes down to. Be prepared to discuss what 'culture' means to you and what attributes contribute to work place culture.
Overall, a terrible candidate experience. If you're going to drag candidates through 8 interviews for future roles, have the decency to call them and provide feedback. For a mid-level HR role, y'll really needed 8 interviews? Will never understand how you can waste a candidate's time this way. It should not take more than 3 interviews to make a decision.
