The interview process was very intensive with 3 rounds, multi-part test projects, and a visit to the office where you are given a timed test project to complete in addition to the at-home portion. Communication following the interview was spotty and when I thanked my interviewers and sought to know why the team “went another direction” I received no reply. The job I applied for and wasn’t given an offer for was reposted a month later but with a jump in qualifications from 3.5 GPA to 4.0+ (not sure how you have over a 4.0 in college) and from certifications in certain platforms to 1+ years work experience. These new qualifications did not however change the salary they were offering. Overall, it seems that they did not value people who showed they were willing to learn and eager to grow. There were people I saw hired for different specific roles within digital marketing with far less experience. This leads me to think they show favoritism for in-state or internal connections rather than who is most qualified or would do the best job in the role. I was very disappointed by my experience because I’d been so excited about the opportunity and expressed that to the team as well.
