I came across their craigslist ad which stated they were hiring for holiday events at 19.50 per hour for various types of private parties, etc. I have been doing this kind of work for years. I responded to the ad attaching my extensive service resume and a link to my professional services profile with high reviews. I explained that I was also in Gardena but that I had unfortunately totaled my vehicle recently and that if they liked what I could bring to the table AND 'that if they had staff who leave from Gardena' please consider me. They got right back and scheduled an interview telling me that they even have work this week. When I arrived, mind you taking 3 hours out of my day and 4 buses they were utterly disorganized and rude. I walked into the office unwittingly into an interview and they rudely asked me to wait outside (?) How about a sign "interview in progress" so that you are not interrupted. Then they were so rude to me when I mentioned my car and said snarkily well we don't do carpooling, that is up to our employees and then the other guy said in a huff, if you don't have a car it isn't going to work. No kidding. Read emails people send in application to jobs. It was only 4 lines!! you not only wasted MY TIME but then acted like I wasted your's! There are other event staffing companies and you can book yourself or find them on gig salad also.
