Position Summary
The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core HRIS modules related to the employee lifecycle, timekeeping systems, and payroll payout logic. This role focuses on building and enhancing critical systems such as pakyaw computation engines, DTR processing, employee clearance workflows, and benefits management tools. The developer will work within a VB.NET, ASP.NET, Vue.js 3, and SQL Server 2019 technology stack to deliver scalable, reliable, and accurate HR and payroll functionalities while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Pakyaw System Development
- Architect and develop the Pakyaw computation engine supporting both Individual and Group Pakyaw schemes.
- Implement payroll logic and calculations to ensure accurate payout processing.
- Ensure the pakyaw system integrates seamlessly with timekeeping and employee records.
2. Timekeeping System Development
- Finalize and enhance Daily Time Record (DTR) generation and processing workflows.
- Implement system adjustments for Member attendance tracking.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping rules that align with HR and payroll policies.
3. HR Operations Automation
- Develop the Member Clearance module, including Back Pay trigger logic.
- Implement separation and retirement processing workflows within the system.
- Build automated deduction logic for employee loans and financial obligations during clearance processing.
4. Member Benefits & HR Programs
- Develop and maintain systems supporting Minimum Wage updates across the employee database.
- Build and maintain employee benefit application modules.
- Implement systems for Government Mandated Benefits (GMB) remittance tracking and processing.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years experience in software development for HRIS, payroll, or enterprise systems.
- Experience developing payroll computation systems or timekeeping solutions is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in VB.NET and ASP.NET.
- Experience developing front-end applications using Vue.js 3.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2019, T-SQL, stored procedures, and database optimization.
- Understanding of HR, payroll, and timekeeping processes is a strong advantage.
