Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, including stand up forklift and order pickers, to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Execute order picking duties using RF scanners to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of products as required, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity within the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly forklifts.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes in a distribution center environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily duties.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation is essential.
