Julie Quirin, President of Saint Luke's, BJC Health System's West Region, has been selected as a "2024 Women Who Mean Business" honoree by the Kansas City Business Journal. 🎉 "Working in health care administration in the 1990s, there weren’t many female executives to look up to," said Julie. "The frontline staff was predominantly women, but as you moved up, there were fewer and fewer examples." Since then, Julie has established herself as a role model in her own right. We're proud to call her a member of Saint Luke's and are deeply thankful for her skilled leadership. Congratulations, Julie! 💙
Congratulations to our team at Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute for being recognized in Becker's Healthcare Hospital Review's 2024 "Hospital and Health Systems with Great Heart Programs" list! The hospitals, health systems, and institutes featured on this list are renowned for their superior heart and vascular care. The list celebrates programs that deliver high-quality outcomes, build skilled teams of expert caregivers, and make key research discoveries in heart care.
BJC Health System has received 86 recognitions for clinical excellence by U.S. News & World Report, with multiple BJC hospitals ranking among the best in Missouri: Barnes-Jewish Hospital and its physician partners at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, and Saint Luke’s East Hospital. The pediatric hospital rankings will be released this fall—in 2023, St. Louis Children's Hospital ranked nationally among the top 12 percent (No. 23) and is ranked in 8 pediatric specialties. In January 2024, BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke's Health System combined to form BJC Health System in a commitment to deliver high-quality, affordable patient care to the communities we serve across Missouri, southern Illinois, and eastern Kansas. Together, we are operating as a single health care organization that serves two regions. We are incredibly proud of our clinical teams and are thankful for their expertise, compassion, and dedication to excellence. We are honored by this recognition and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care to our communities across the Midwest.
