Shell Foundation was formed by energy giant Shell Group as a way to develop sustainable corporate practices across the world. Working with numerous international partner organizations, Shell Foundation facilitates global self-sufficiency by providing finance and business education to Uganda, Mexico, and every needy country in between. It also educates about air pollution, water sanitation, investment strategies, and other quality-of-life concerns. Climate change, public transportation, and urban mobility are recent additions on the company's action plan. Shell Foundation was founded in 2000.
