The Rave is incredibly stressful. You will do the work of 5 people for $8 an hour. The owners treat you like they could replace you in a second. Depending on the show, customers can be really nice to downright atrocious. If you work in the Box Office, you could be there until 10:30 PM or 2 AM, which was usually decided by flipping a coin. You're considered a 'lifer' if you're there longer than 3 years, because nobody makes it that long otherwise. Pretty much no possibility of a raise.
