Ventajas

fellow employees where great to work with, the job itself was o.k. discount is good but they don't pay you enough to even have money to spend there.

Desventajas

They claim to pay 50-100% better than industry average when in turn they pay just above minimum wage. They say they want to get the work of 3 people out of you, but treat you inhumanly. Hours are never the same one week you can work 3 hours the next 20 only when it suits their needs, they say they are flexible but are not and you can never depend on a regular pay check from week to week. The co claims to care about environment but when merchandising they throw away tons of empty boxes and bubble wrap will not let employees even take one box would they would rather trow it out because they sell boxes and bubble wrap and who cares about the employee or mother earth they need to make that extra buck. if working at register they hound you to get pop customers everyday even if there are days when either everyone coming through has one or totally refuses, also your lucky if you can get someone to cover to make it to washroom. you can only get a managers position if your friend with one, does not matter how qualified you are or how long you work for them. They should be in the worst companies to work for.

Ventajas

Everyone from director level on down in my department was great. Very collaborative. Gave you autonomy to do and try new things.

Desventajas

Where do I start…Sr. Leadership is TERRIBLE. I mean absolutely horrific. No direction and plans were changing at the drop of a dime after the BB&B “merger”. You could feel the shift in the culture, just NASTY attitudes and taking the employees for granted. The new CEO and the rest of Sr. level execs acted like everyone was just expendable workhorses. They touted reopening the headquarters cafe as some awesome benefit so they could bring people back to the office full time. If you’re going to be bullish and require everyone back, have some guts and just do it. But don’t act like a cafe is some life changing benefit to get everyone excited. Anyway, blind leading the blind. The merit increase or raises - non existent. No 401k match. Nothing positive because the company is so broke. The new store concept sounds a mess. Save yourself and don’t even apply, let alone accept an offer. Joel Bines is no longer the CEO. He was a great guy and I think he had great ideas. Marcus Lemonis is the new CEO and I would give him a thumbs down.
