Ventajas
-Challenging and interesting projects to work on. You'll learn a lot about the industry. -Good work/life balance. Rarely made to work overtime. -The risk of layoffs here is very low.
Desventajas
-Horrible pay. Aggressively behind market value. When I left, I received a 50% pay increase. -Benefits are bad. Holiday/vacation/sick time policy is lacking. You need to work there for 10 years before you get additional vacation days. You have 10 years of having 10 days of vacation. Then you get 15 days. Compared to every other engineering company, this is laughably bad. -Lacks basic infrastructure that's needed to run a company in 2019. Most egregious example: if you want your paycheck direct deposited, you have to pay for it as a deduction from your (already undersized) paycheck. -No opportunities for career growth. Sure, you may work on more challenging things and attain more responsibility as you accrue more experience. But you're never going to get a promotion. -No yearly reviews or COLA raises. You'll make the same amount of money as time goes on and you get more experience. When inflation is accounted for, you make LESS money the longer you're there. -No bonuses. For anything. Ever.
