Ventajas

Rutgers provides great benefits. Great PTO and pension plan. The staff includes some of the most amazing people, who are passionate about helping the community.

Desventajas

EISS does not practice what it preaches. Unsafe staffing, unethical practices are encouraged to keep the numbers up and disregard for policies is what the Newark office continues to promote. For a mental health program, upper management continues to jeopardize the mental health of its staff and disregard the needs of the consumers by stacking sessions. Consumers do not get the care they require and deserve. This is reflected in the high turnover rate and decreased morale. Working before hours and after hours is common within the team as a way to try to stay afloat as management continues to unsafely schedule consumers. I would not recommend this program to anyone.

Ventajas

co-workers are super nice, friendly and collaborative. Good flexibility in work arrangements. My immediate boss is nice.

Desventajas

Morale is quite low, and turnover is high. We are losing good people and goals are not being met. Senior Leader tell us to do more with less, and do not want constructive feedback. They don't lead by example, taking elaborate trips instead of being present and supporting staff. Rules don't apply to them. So disappointing, not what you would expect from a public university.
