Location Personal Time Off Benefits Purchased laptops to allow staff to telecommute Students are really driven

Desventajas

The campus is clearly under-resourced, especially when compared to the sister flagship university. The infrastructure throughout the university is in need of an upgrade. Staff is working tirelessly and the emphasis on personal care/mental health is for theatre and not a true value. Proceeding business as usual during a global pandemic. The only major change is a telecommuting option for those who are able. Little room for advancement. Learning is on your own via LinkedIn.

Ventajas

co-workers are super nice, friendly and collaborative. Good flexibility in work arrangements. My immediate boss is nice.

Desventajas

Morale is quite low, and turnover is high. We are losing good people and goals are not being met. Senior Leader tell us to do more with less, and do not want constructive feedback. They don't lead by example, taking elaborate trips instead of being present and supporting staff. Rules don't apply to them. So disappointing, not what you would expect from a public university.
