Ventajas

Great Company to work for and they spend the time to train new hires with their products and services. Have a great portfolio of offerings from P&C to Life. Are a top rated Insurance Company with assets to back their claims. Overall, great Company

Desventajas

Not sure these are cons, some are, some not so much: Too much gossip among Career agents. Management a little rigid but very professional. Get the job done or else. Purchase own leads that can be very expensive but overall shouldn't be an issue. As a captive agent, give a salary but some expenses paid are soaked up and was unable to take off on income taxes. Underwriting is a tough department but there to do their job. Sales and underwriting do not get along very well, feel they are a separate department instead of working together, too much friction.

Ventajas

Flexible work schedule and locations, excellent benefits, potential for yearly bonus

Desventajas

Claims program utilized is proprietary and a bit cumbersome. Improvements are in the works, and what I witnessed before leaving indicates more improvements are to come.

Ventajas

The people are nice and don't go out of their way to be mean to you.

Desventajas

There's a nightly batch job written horribly in some old language with no control structures that fails a lot. You have to be on call to support it and it fails overnight at least once a week. They don't care about fixing it.
